What Was He Thinkin???
Let’s look at the mix. Armed men, drugs, illegal activities, and the arrest of a dirty cop, all within 50 feet of little kids on the playground.
Don’t sound like a whole lot of thought was put into this thing. Thank God the whole thing went down like it should have. But, what would have happened if that DARE cop went loco, and grabbed one of the kids?
Could have gotten real ugly, real quick.
Maybe Wagner is in to big a hurry to prove to everybody that he Buford Pusser. He’s takin’ chances with our kids lives…and that ain’t good. If Wagner wants to swing a big stick, do it when the kids ain't in danger.
Lying Lapdogs
I wrote before about the Mayor’s yappin’ poodle, and when I did, Little Lamar came chargin’ out of his dog house, snarlin’ and snappin’ tellin’ us all about how independent he was.
Here’s what he wrote:
My opinions are mine alone, and my blog is a personal website with four different writers and numerous contributors, not all of whom share the same opinions.
And then he says:
Your implication about the purpose of my website is absolutely false. I do not receive editorial orders from anyone and neither do the contributors to the website.
And then adds:
You'd like to directly marry anything and everything posted on my blog to Mayor Roy.
Well Lamar, from the looks of your latest posts, we ain't gotta do a thing. You're doin' a fine job of maryin' your posts to the Mayor with out any help from us. It's pretty plain to us, your opinions are bein’ dictated by the man who holds your leash, Jacques Roy. You jumped on the Mayor’s soapbox pretty quick over the SPARC deal. Just what were you boys tryin' to hide from the Town Talk? And to this day you’re still tryin’ to get us to believe the Mayor’s numbers on the sales tax allocation are real!
Try this one on for size Lamar…as long as you are getting’ paid by public dollars ya better tell the truth. Folks don’t like being lied to, and won't vote for 'em a second time.

Even A Blind Hog Finds An Acorn...Every Now And Then
This mornin’ he was bellyachin’ about Alexandria’s use of channel 4. He’s dead on right.
But, with Greg’s permission I’d like to add my two cents.
If ya’ll think that Jacques Roy and the rest of the council don’t know that those cameras are runnin, then think again! They know that nobody can put out a different view than theirs, even if it’s a public access channel.
They got themselves a monopoly and they know it. It’s a perfect way to spread propaganda.
Just a warnin’...

The Mayor's Yappin' Poodle
Livin’ out here, I use this computer to keep up with the stuff that The Town Talk and Channel 5 ain’t got the guts to report.
I was pretty surprised to see that Mayor Roy has jumped all over State Treasurer John Kennedy, Senator David Vitter, and President Bush through his yapping poodle, Lamar White.
Now this little poodle will tell ya that his political views belong to him, and old Jacques don’t dictate what he writes. Right…and my chickens lay square eggs.
No secret that this Lamar kid couldn’t hold down a job anywhere but his momma’s real estate company so he jumps on Roy’s bandwagon and rides out the mayor’s campaign. Now he’s being paid to be the front man for Mayor Jacques Roy’s wacky political views and to take up for the mayor when he gets caught playin’ fast and loose with the facts.
So far the poodle has spouted off about Tibet, slammed a few Republicans, and admitted that Alexandria is getting’ a lot more than their fair share of parish taxes.
Good job there Lamar….thanks to you, we’re startin’ to see the real Jacques Roy. When the voters catch on to what a phony your boss is, they’ll send him back to being a mediocre lawyer and you back to workin’ for momma.
Banty Roosters
Ya’ll know what’s been missin’ from Baton Rouge since before the EWE years….a little common sense. I’m takin’ a close look at what Jindal did in the way of ethics reform and I gotta say, He hit a home run.
Used to be, a man with an axe to grind against any public official could make up an accusation, throw a hand grenade or two, and next thing you know, a good man gets dragged under the tractor! We see headlines like, “Public Official Under Investigation By Ethics Board!” Before the facts are all out, before he gets a change to defend himself, a man’s good name has been dragged through the mud.
Now don't get me wrong, some of these slick politicians deserve just what they get...but some don't.
Some folks figured out that if you were slick enough, you could use the board to make a lie, legitimate.
Now it’s different flock of crows.
Before, the ethics board acted as investigator, prosecutor, judge, and jury. The standard of proof was pretty low. Lawyers called it the “reliable and substantial” standard. By “reliable,” it means that if enough folks are willin’ to lie, the board will believe em’. By substantial, it means that if ya got a big enough pile of papers, the board believes that too.
Now we got two changes that kind of levels the playin’ field, and keeps some of these back stabbin’ cowards from using the ethics board to do their dirty work. First, the ethics board don’t control the whole process anymore. The new laws make the board show a judge the evidence and the judge makes the decision about guilt. No more payoffs to the board, no more back room deals. Now you have to prove your case with real facts. Now it ain’t about how much evidence you can twist, or manufacture, or just plain lie about ...it’s the evidence itself that has to stand on it’s own weight.
The new standard is called “clear and convincing” proof. Proof that deals with facts that can be checked out. Goin’ before the ethics board with a pay-off and a pack of lies don’t work any more. By the way….this is the same level of proof the Supreme Court uses when it handles complaints against attorneys in this state.
Funny how some shyster lawyers want to tar and feather folks with no proof, but when somebody points the finger at them, they hide behind a different set of rules.
Naturally these new changes have the liars, and cowards squawking about how unfair the new rules are. I say let em’ squawk! I’ve listened to these little banty roosters crow about how “honest” they are and how they just want to have “good government.” That’s a bunch of cow crap. What they want is attention, and if they have to ruin a man’s family to get it, these bottom feeders will do it.
Make it system fair and make everybody play by the same rules. That’s good government.

If You Live In A Glass House...
Now I’ve read Kavanaugh’s editorial, and Aymond’s response. Looks like to me that Aymond leaves out a few sentences that puts Kavanaugh’s editorial in the proper perspective. That’s just plain dishonest.
Seems to me like Kavanaugh’s whole point is to make us think about politics of Aymond’s hatred of Dupree and Faircloth. He even says it’s nothin’ but speculation.
By readin’ both sides I get that Kavanaugh is just pointing out possibilities, while Aymond is howling ‘cause Kavanaugh got a little too close to the truth.
Folks always say the one who screams the most is the one who told the biggest lie.
